WordPress provides a lot of flexibility, allowing you to create many different styles of website to publish your research. Below are some examples showing what is possible with FamilyStory.
Family Groups Website – This is the story of my own family, and the reason I created FamilyStory. While still a work in progress, this website will eventually include profiles for the ancestors of all four sets of grandparents. The entry point to the research is through Family Group pages, with a static home page, and FamilyStory generates all other pages on the website automatically.
Individual Ancestor Website – This website highlights the life and work of a single ancestor. FamilyStory functionality is used to publish the life events of the ancestor and his immediate family. Existing WordPress functionality (posts and categories) is then used to navigate records that highlight aspects of his work.
